At Glacier Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe apps should be useful, straightforward, and respectful of your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our apps.
This policy applies to Glacier Apps apps that link to it. Some apps may offer features that work differently or use additional services. When they do, we’ll explain those practices in the app or its App Store description.
We aim to make simple apps that work without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information. Our apps are intended to be free and, where applicable, without advertising or subscriptions.
The details can vary between apps. Please check the information shown in each app and its App Store listing, especially if it offers features involving online services, location, or other device permissions.
Information you enter or create in an app—such as checklist items, preferences, or settings—may be stored on your device so the app can provide its features. For apps that store information this way, we do not receive that locally stored information.
Information may remain on your device until you delete it in the app, if that option is available, or remove the app. If you use device backups, your backup provider may retain app information according to your backup settings and its own policies.
Some app features may ask to use device functions, such as notifications, photos, camera, or location. You can allow or deny permission, and you can change permissions later in your device settings. If you deny permission, the related feature may not work.
We use a permission only to provide the feature you choose to use. For example, an app may schedule a notification on your device if you enable reminders. The specific permissions an app requests depend on its features.
The apps covered by this policy are designed to work without collecting personal information for us. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics tools in those apps.
If a particular app or feature sends information to an online service, we’ll identify that practice in the app or its App Store description and explain what information is involved and why it is used. That service may handle information under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Our apps are intended to be free and, where applicable, without advertising or subscriptions. If an app’s business model or data practices change, we’ll update the information presented with that app.
For apps covered by this policy that do not send personal information to us, we do not share that information with other companies. Apple may process information when you download or use an app through Apple services, such as the App Store. Apple handles that information under Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.
Information stored only on your device remains there until you remove it, delete it within the app if that option is available, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling an app may not remove information already included in a device backup.
If a future app or feature sends information to us or a service provider, the app will explain how that information is kept and how you can request its deletion, when applicable.
Our apps are not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through an app or service, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps.
We work to design our apps with privacy in mind. Information stored on your device is protected by the security features of your device and operating system. No device, storage method, or online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
An app may rely on services provided by Apple or another company to function. Those providers may process information as described in their own privacy policies. If we add a third-party service that collects or receives information through one of our apps, we’ll update the relevant app disclosures and this policy as needed.
We may update this policy when our apps, services, or privacy practices change. We’ll post the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how an app handles information, we’ll provide notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
